Where it all began
I had the privilege to travel to Disney World several times with family, friends, and a school trips from childhood through young adulthood. In total, I had gone 4 times between the ages of 5 and 20. While I loved every trip and had so much fun each time, I never truly understood the hype and the obsession of going to Disney as often as possible.
That is until we took our first trip as a family with our girls to Disneyland, California.
Let me tell you, the magic of seeing Disney through your children’s eyes is truly the most magical experience of all. That’s the moment I truly fell in love with the Disney Magic.
Their joy, wonder, excitement, and awe is what Disney Magic is all about. Watching the Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade and the Disneyland Forever Fireworks show through their eyes is a moment I will never forget.
As soon as we were home from that trip, I started planning our first Disney World trip with the girls and and continue to plan and dream ✨
Now, we’ve been to Disney World several times and have started exploring international travel.
If Travel Feels Like a Lot… You’re Our Kind of People
Traveling as a neurodivergent family means we never leave home without our go-to hacks, sensory tools, backup snacks, and at least three escape plans—because “spontaneity” sounds fun until someone melts down in the airport security line.
We’ve learned how to minimize overwhelm, dodge sensory landmines, and build in the kind of structure that helps us actually enjoy the adventure. My goal? To help you go from Disney World to the whole world with less chaos, more calm, and plenty of core memories (and maybe a few bonus churros).
