Storybook Dining at Artist Point Menu and Pricing
Dinner is the only option for dining with Snow White at Artist Point. At the time of writing, this Prix Fixe character dining experience is $69 per adult and $43 per child, not including tax or gratuity.
You can find images of the regular menus for children and adults, along with the allergy-friendly menus and a specialty drink menu. The menu and pricing are subject to change at any time, so please always check the website before your trip!
We give the food a 7.5 out of 10. While it was good, it wasn’t as good as other meals we’ve had at some other restaurants on property.
This is a 3 course meal. You get the trio of appetizers for the table, each guest chooses one entrée, and then you get the trio of desserts for the table at the end. You will also get a special treat hand delivered to the table with a fun presentation.
The Prime Rib was cooked well and the Yorkshire Pudding was probably my favorite part.
However, Adam’s gluten free Prime Rib meal did not have a gluten free bread alternative, just an empty spot on his plate where the Yorkshire Pudding would have been. Honestly, for the price point, I would have expected they substitute something, not just remove it.
Since the main trio of desserts is not gluten free, Adam received his own little dessert tray. It included a chia pudding with pineapple, a gluten free version of the Poison Apple, and a gluten free fruit crisp. The gluten free dessert options are not listed on the menu at all, so I believe they’re probably rotated frequently.
“Safe Foods” Note
French Fries are not listed on the menu but are available if you ask! I know this is important for some families as French fries are typically a safe food for many kids and individuals. They also have Mac and cheese on the menu.
Characters
The characters at Storybook Dining are what truly sets this character dining experience apart from the rest. Here, you get to meet 3 rare characters – Evil Queen, Grumpy, and Dopey along with Snow White.
Snow White and the Dwarfs each visit you at your table. They will come separately so there is only one character at the table at a time.
During your meal, you will be invited to visit Evil Queen, where you can also take photos with a Disney photographer and have her sign your autograph books. She is in a stationary location and does not travel around the dining room.
Atmosphere
My girls loved the decor and theming of Artist Point. They said it felt like we were eating in Snow White’s forest. The chandeliers are made to look like lanterns hanging from trees and the walls look like charming log cabins in the woods.
It was very much on brand for both Snow White and Wilderness Lodge.
As with all Disney restaurants, they are busy. Tables are full, wait staff is moving around, and there are managers around frequently. I wouldn’t say it feels chaotic though. Surprisingly, it feels like a fairly cozy atmosphere given you’re at a character dining experience.

Is Storybook Dining at Artist Point Sensory-Friendly?
I added a short video below of the Storybook Dining sounds and some of the light changes so you can see and hear it for yourself and get a better feel for it other than just a written description.
- Lighting – Artist Point has moderate lighting, if not on the brighter side. There are some beautiful, large windows that let in a lot of natural light. The overhead lighting is moderate – not too bright and definitely on the warm side.
- It was still light out while we dined here, so in the evening, it’s probably darker but with that warm light glow.
- The lighting does change when characters appear with colors changing lights (purple, green, orange, and blue) but it’s not overly bright or over-stimulating during the day.
- Noise Level – this character meal is quieter than some of the character buffets. Though there are steady restaurant sounds and voices, typical of busy restaurants, it doesn’t feel as over-stimulating as character meals like Tusker House or Chef Mickey’s.
- There are a few times when slightly louder music is played to get your attention for character entrances. You can always ask your wait staff to let you know in advance if you’re extra sensitive to sudden sounds.
- Dinner starts at 4:00 and it’s not crowded at that time.
- Character Pacing – Snow White and the Dwarfs visit your table one at a time. They follow a regular and predictable rotation going from table to table around the room. You will know before they head to your table.
- Evil Queen is in a stationary position in the dining room and you will be invited to visit her during your meal. She does not visit the tables.
- Space – The room is standard sized for a dining room, and not as large and spread out as Tusker House or Be Our Guest. The tables are somewhat close together.
- The tables in the center of the room just enough space between them for the characters to easily fit through.
- Overall vibe – this is a fairly relaxed character dining experience. You don’t feel rushed at all and the three course meal is paced on the slower side; which allows you plenty of time to meet with each character and enjoy your meal.
How to Get to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
There are a few ways to get there depending on where you’re coming from. Disney transportation is free to use when you are on property and other options are an additional cost.
If you’re utilizing free Disney transportation and going from resort-to-park-to-resort, it could take as long as an hour.
- Bus – If you’re heading to the Wilderness Lodge from the parks, you can take the bus from your current park to the resort.
- If you are at a Disney resort, you cannot take the Disney busses directly from resort to resort. You can, however, take Disney transportation to a park then take a park bus back to the Wilderness Lodge.
- Disney has recently started checking resort reservations before allowing guests to board the buses at Disney Springs. I would not count on being able to take a bus from Disney Springs to Wilderness Lodge, even with a dinner reservation.
- Uber / Lyft – It’s easy to get a Lyft or take an Uber to the Disney resorts. Just schedule it through your app!
- Minnie Van – Minne Van is an exclusive ride option through Lyft when you are on Disney property.
- Friendship Boat – If you’re at Magic Kingdom, you have the additional option of taking a Friendship Boat from Magic Kingdom to the resort.
- Drive – if you have a car, you can drive to Wilderness Lodge and park there for your dinner reservation. Please note, you may only park at resorts if you have a dining reservation or lodging reservation.
- Private Transportation – you can also hire private transportation (like a limo or car service) for the quick trip if that is in your budget.
Things to consider – if you take the bus to MK to take the Friendship boat, you will have to go through security before you are allowed to get to the boats. For time’s sake, I don’t recommend this option.
I only recommend taking the Friendship Boat to the Wilderness Lodge if you are already at Magic Kingdom or one of the resorts on Seven Seas Lagoon.
If you take the Friendship boat back to Magic Kingdom from the Wilderness Lodge, it will stop at Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary before heading to Magic Kingdom

Is it worth it? The Final Verdict
Our (possibly controversial) take:
This is one of the more unique character dining experiences at Disney World. The setting and character interactions with rare characters are what make it memorable—but whether it’s “worth it” really depends on what you’re looking for and the amount of time you’re willing to use.
While we enjoyed this unique character dining experience, this was not our first trip to DISNEY WORLD. If it was our first trip, we would probably skip this meal. Unless Evil Queen, Grumpy, or Dopey are your favorite characters, you can see Snow White elsewhere within the parks.
I also wouldn’t suggest this on a park day, unless you’re planning on heading to this specific dinner before going back to your resort. Since it’s a character meal, it is a slower paced meal (which we love) but it does take time out of the parks.
We chose to schedule this meal on one of our “resort days” before going to Epcot to watch the Fireworks and staying for the Extended Evening Hours, available to Deluxe Resort guests. We were staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, which is within walking distance of Epcot. (But this is a side quest for another post.)
If we were at a park, we would expect at least 30-45 minutes for transportation to Wilderness Lodge, about 90 minutes for the meal and character interactions, then an additional 30-45 minutes transportation back to a park. That will eat up a lot of your park time.
Bottom line, we would recommend Storybook Dining at Artist Point if you have at least 3.5 hours of time to devote to the experience and you really want to see Evil Queen and the Dwarfs.
